#006: Why Its So Important to Celebrate Wins Along the Way
Jan 24, 2023Sad to say, but we are so good at pointing out where we 'fail' to meet our goals in a health journey ...
but often give very little thought or attention to any wins we have along the way.
And yet we wonder why it's so hard to get motivated to do the thing we want most.
Here's the deal, CELEBRATING WINS is a crucial part of a health journey.
Especially when dealing with a chronic illness such as Rheumatoid arthritis.
It's so easy to focus on our short-comings, then lose our momentum and find ourselves stuck, and in pain.
However, when we take time to focus on the wins we experience, big or small, we set ourselves up with resiliency.
Resiliency to bounce back after a short-coming, a side-step, or a stop.
We're able to remind ourselves, WE CAN DO HARD THINGS.
In today's shortie episode, I'm sharing more on why celebrating wins is so important, as well as giving examples of how thoughts flow when we focus on 'failures' vs 'wins
