Ingredients
 1 -2 handfuls of spinach
 1 small handful broccoli sprouts
 2 tbsp chia seeds, if trouble digesting, soak in water for 10 minutes
 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
 1 cup pineapple, frozen
 ½ ripe banana (frozen, if possible)
 1 cup almond milk or water
 ½ - 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled, depending on your preferred level of spiciness
 1 tsp turmeric
 1 dash of black pepper
 2-4 ice cubes (may not need if using frozen fruit)

Directions

First, if digesting chia seeds is a challenge for you, presoak them before blending: add 2 TB chia seeds to a small bowl with ½ C water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes, then add gel to your blender.

Add remaining ingredients and blend, slowly increasing speed until all ingredients are incorporated.

Pour smoothie into a glass and enjoy.
